“This place is a dream. Nearby restaurants are incredible, the walk to the beach so easy and beautiful, and the cottage, cozy and with all of the amenities! I can't WAIT to return. I am so happy I found this place! ”

We have stayed in four of the cottages Surf Side cottages but this year we rented "Surfside Cottage" on Wilson St. because it offered three bedrooms, enough for us, our children and their friends. We could not have been more pleased with our choice, as the cottage had been recently remodeled to include a granite kitchen, gas range, a bathroom with a shower with skylight, an outdoor shower, a wonderful upstairs bedroom with a skylight opening to a great roof deck. The other two bedrooms were also very comfortable: one with a full size bed, another with 2 twin beds, and a spacious living/dining room with a sofa that was long enough to stretch out on. Ceiling fans in the upstairs bedrooms kept breezes moving on even the hottest nights (and we had several!) The cottage was equipped with an excellent kitchen, with all utensils one needed (including a big lobster pot!), outdoor grill, and wireless internet. One recommendation is to bring a portable radio if, like us, you enjoy listening to baseball games, news, etc. No TV - which is just perfect for us.
If you have never been to the Outer Cape, I highly recommend it. It is somewhat quieter and more scenic that the rest of the Cape, the beaches less crowded and the restaurants excellent. If you don't mind a hike, you can walk to the Beachcomber at Cahoon Hollow Beach, exactly 1.5 miles down the road or via the beach, which obviates the need for a designated driver!
One real plus is Armand, who manages the cottages. He is very obliging and responsive to renters' needs and questions.
The other cottages we stayed at were smaller - two bedrooms - and closer to the beach by a matter of perhaps 1 minute or so. They were decorated in knotty pine, which was sort of dark and dated. I would recommend Surf Side Cottages (and in particular Surfside Cottage) to anyone who wants a quiet, very comfortable beach vacation. Any of the cottages would be an excellent choice, believe me.

Management Response: Surf Side cottage now has cable TV as well as Wi-fi Internet access as well as air conditioning.
The pride the owners have in this property is shown throughout. Wonderful kitchen for a cottage this size with every cooking utensil you will ever need.
Wonderful screened in porch to relax and with a full size table a great place to eat outside in good or bad weather. Steps from the ocean and a roof
deck off the master bedroom where you can hear the sounds of the waves breaking. So quiet and comfortable! No TV or Wi-Fi which is fine with us, lots
of time to play games, do puzzles, read, go for walks...everything a vacation should be!! Short drive to many national seashore events and the bike path.

Management Response: Surf Side cottage now has cable, wi-fi Internet access.
The cottages are on Lecount's Hollow Beach in Wellfleet - which is the upper cape. We saw wild life and heard the ocean and had such restful nights
sleeping! The cottage is well-equipped and comfortable. In the morning we drove down to PB Bistro to partake of the unbelievably fresh, luscious French
baked pastries - chocolate stuffed croissants - lovely buttery stuff. Being at Lecount's Hollow is one of the best locations because you can get to
Chatham and get to Provinceton. We will always come back!

Management's response: These cottages are at LeCount Hollow but are not on the beach...just a short walk away. We are located on the "Outer Cape." The
upper cape is by the canal bridges.
A hidden gem among the clean, white sandy beaches of the upper cape, Surf Side Cottages have much to offer in the way of ocean retreats. Tucked away in a
quiet residential neighborhood, the only sound you hear is the crashing of the waves echoing from LeCount Hollow beach, which is just steps away from your
cottage. My family and I have been coming to Surf Side cottage for many years and each time we are greeted with excellent service from Armand and Lisa,
and a clean, well-maintained cottage fitted with every amenity needed to enjoy our stay. Each morning we walk to the beach with our black lab, "Riley",
for a nice long stroll that is the most relaxing part of the day. The only souls on the beach are the surfers catching an early wave.
Surf Side's location is within minutes of some of the best shopping, dining, and recreation on the cape. Historic Provincetown is under twenty minutes
away by car, where you can stroll Commercial Street or catch a Whale Watch tour off the pier. There is something for every interest and all within a
short distance from this quaint oceanside retreat. Overall Surf Side has become a home away from home and we will continue to stay every year, knowing that we will leave (unwillingly)with another
memorable experience!

Management's response: Correction - Surf Side Cottages are near the clean, white sandy beaches of the
Outer Cape. The upper cape is near the canal bridges.
This was a delightful cottage. The renovations were done with a great deal of care and thought. It has everything you need for a restful vacation.
The location can not be beat. It was quiet and private. The rooftop deck offered nice evenings watching the full moon. The beach was an easy walk so we
were able to take advantage of that quite a bit. The caretaker was very responsive and attentive. We would return in a heartbeat.
