This one bedroom apartment is attached to a house where a quiet, retired couple live. With
a separate entrance and backyard it's just as private and quiet as renting a free-standing
cottage.
The front door opens into a large room with the kitchen to the left and living room to the right. The kitchen is fully equipped for cooking with a gas stove, full-size refrigerator, toaster, microwave, coffeemaker, pots and pans and dishes. The living room has a couch, sitting chair and table, eating table with chairs and satellite TV with a premiere package.
From the living room you enter the bedroom which has one queen bed. The bath with shower is off a hallway that also provides access to the back yard where you will find a deck with enclosed outdoor shower, charcoal BBQ grill, picnic table, sitting chairs and clothesline.
Nearby, we have a building with coin-operated washers and dryers.
Dunecrest is very private and very popular with our guests. Just walk out the front door and look down the street and you can see the ocean which is about two city blocks away. Dunecrest is pet friendly for an additional pet fee. This non-smoking unit rents from Sunday to Sunday with a weekly price that ranges from $700.00 to $1,200.00. Stays shorter than a week are sometimes possible in the Spring or Fall. Call or email us for details.

“Cozy apartment near ocean beach, bike path and town”

My husband and I look for simple, comfortable, well cared-for places that are near great walking, biking, canoeing, swimming, a good fish market and vegetable stand-- plus affordability. Dunecrest is all this and more. Attached to the owners' house, Dunecrest is a comfortable one bedroom apartment with a living area, kitchen, separate bedroom and bath with shower. When we stayed in May 2009 the apartment was in great condition. Both the manager and owner are fine people who made us feel at home. Even though Dunecrest is not a separate building, we had plenty of privacy. There is a shaded back deck but during cool pollen season we spent our time biking, hiking and wandering the beach. Dunecrest is ideally located. Local biking is wonderful and there is access to the Cape Cod Rail Trail without getting on Route 6. Wellfleet beaches are in walking distance and town is a short drive or bike ride away. We had a great time. Bring linens and food and leave your worries behind! --Catnap from Massachusetts
